Performing artist Sarah Salerno Thomas has been hopscotching across the northeast with her unique brand of interactive entertainment since founding Take A Bow Productions (formerly Imagine That! Productions) in Boston in 1996. From Dartmouth to Cornell, Stockbridge to Saratoga, thousands of children (and adults) have joined her onstage and, under her guidance, proceeded to reveal the singular power of their imaginations.
Whether a museum planning a family day, a school compelled to satisfy frameworks under statewide curriculum guidelines, or a library seeking events for vacation weeks and summer months, Ms. Salerno Thomas offers programming that fits the bill.
Participantsin museums, schools, libraries and at corporate family events and festivalsrange in age from 5 to 75. Their numbers include a retired Harvard professor; a grandmother and her identical twin granddaughters; and children challenged with blindness, deafness, and autism. If you spin a globe and point to any country, it is likely that someone from there has taken a bow at the end of one of Ms. Salerno Thomas' productions.
